1. From the home screen, go to the app section/store, head to the search bar, and download/install TiviMate. On Fire TV: open the Downloader app and use the code 272483 to load the TiviMate app.
2. Open it and click Add playlist.
3. Choose Xtream Codes.
4. In the Server address field, select it and type in: http://op.web24.live:8080
5. In the username and password fields, type in your credentials.
6. Select to checkmark Include TV channels only.
7. Arrow over to the right and select Next.
8. Give it a moment to process. When it finishes, click Playlist name, change it to LTV 1, then arrow to the right and click Done.
9. Give it another few moments for everything to load.
10. Arrow to the left three times, select Settings, then choose Unlock premium.
11. Click Next, then Sign up. On the following screen, enter your email and your streaming account password (or a password of your choice) to sign up, paying the one-time $33. That fee goes to TiviMate for their premium licence, not to Legend Solutions.
12. On the next screen, choose the name that best describes where you are using the device — for example "man cave" or "master bedroom". Once you enter the name, arrow to the right, choose Activate and click OK.
13. Click Playlists, select your playlist name (LTV 1), scroll down to User-agent and enter your streaming username for LTV 1 with no space at the end. Click Save. Scroll down further, toggle Update on start of app, then tap the back button twice to return to the previous screen.

1. Select Playlists, then choose Add playlist.
2. Select Xtream Codes and enter the following credentials: http://103.176.90.140 Username and password: the LTV 2 credentials provided with your account. Checkmark both Include Live TV and Include VOD.
3. Click Next and rename your playlist LTV 2 — erase whatever is in the field first. Click Next from there for the LTV 2 playlist to load. It can take a few minutes because there are a lot more stations.
4. That is it — a follow-up video showing how to move between the two playlists comes with your setup message, though most people work it out straight away. Enjoy.

These steps are optional — you can hit the back button and start streaming right now. They simply make day-to-day use simpler.

1. Arrow to the left a few times to bring up the menu, then scroll down and choose Settings.
2. Click General and toggle on Confirm exit by second press back. Tap the back button.
3. Select EPG, scroll down and toggle on Update on playlist change and Update on start, then click Update EPG. Tap the back button.
4. Select Appearance — font size and colour theme are yours to set, and you can come back to this later. Tap the back button.
5. Select Remote control, then TV guide. Where it shows Back, change it to Return to player. Select Long back and change it to Exit. Tap the back button.
6. Select Player, click Long back and choose Exit. Tap the back button twice.
7. Return to the menu on the left and select TV to start streaming live.

Bandwidth throttling is when an Internet Service Provider (ISP) intentionally slows down your connection to specific streaming servers. It usually happens during peak hours or around live sports events, when the network is busiest and the ISP wants to shed load.

So when a stream buffers or playback freezes, that is often your ISP throttling the connection rather than a fault on our end. A VPN bypasses it by encrypting your traffic — your ISP can no longer detect what you are streaming, so it has nothing to single out and slow down.

1. On your phone, download the Surfshark VPN app directly from the App Store or the Google Play Store.
2. Install the same app on your TV streaming device — Fire TV, Google TV / Android TV box, and so on. It is in the device's own app store.
3. Sign in on your phone first. That single login is what makes the TV side quick.
4. Open the app on the TV and choose to log in with a QR code. Scan the code on screen with your phone and the TV signs itself in.

• Do not leave the VPN connected constantly. Turn it on only when you are actually experiencing performance issues or buffering, then turn it back off.
• Test playback both ways. If a station is buffering or appears offline, play it with the VPN enabled and again with the VPN disabled before you report anything. That one check tells us whether the problem is your ISP or the stream itself.
